Between 2-3.09.2021, representatives of BRCT Suceava attended the fifth edition of the Local Development Forum. Traditionally held in Truskavets, Ukraine, in the Lviv region, the event is a unique international platform for exchange of experiences and best practices in regional and local development. The meetings facilitate debate and coordination of efforts by local and national authorities, businesses and non-governmental organisations to ensure sustainable development. This year, the Forum had the following 3 central themes: The unique scale of the event is given by the presence of 200 representatives of the parliaments and governments of the Carpathian states, regional and local authorities, international organisations and members of the Diplomatic Corps, NGOs and analytical centres, as well as representatives of international technical assistance programmes operating in Ukraine and traditionally participating in the ”Local Development Forum”. Representatives of ministries, parliaments and consulates from Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Germany, Turkey and other countries participate in the meetings every year.
