Protection masks distribution campaign - European Co-operation Day 2020

The Joint Operational Programme Romania - Ukraine 2014-2020 is celebrating the European Cooperation Day again this year, starting on 21 September, together with the cooperation programmes funded by the European Union  From 21 September to 20 October 2020, residents of the counties on the border with Ukraine are invited on a ”safe” journey through Tulcea, Botoșani, Suceava, Baia Mare or Satu Mare, on public transport carrying the message of the Romania - Ukraine Programme for the Day of European Cooperation. At the same time, the Day of Cooperation will also be present online, through a campaign promoting cross-border collaboration and partnerships that generate results and solutions to common problems of both countries.

This year's European Cooperation Day has three strands - cooperation, digitisation and safety. So to ensure a safe journey on the campaign buses, information packs containing disposable safety masks will be distributed in each of the 5 cities. The packs will be handed out from 30 September to 1 October at bus stops on the routes on which buses with the campaign message run.

The beneficiaries of the Romania-Ukraine Programme are also prepared to mark the Day of Cooperation with a variety of attractive events and activities in both Romania and Ukraine.

The list of events and details of the actions carried out under the Romania - Ukraine Programme 2014-2020 during this period can be found on the website www.ro-ua.net, and on the programme's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ENI-CBC-Romania-Ukraine-2014-2020.

2020 is an important milestone in the history of EU-funded cooperation programmes, as partners from all participating countries celebrate 30 years of #INTERREG cooperation.
